A CLASS PROJECT; DINNER PLATE SIZES
Lesson 8
This is an activity lesson designed to deepen the understanding of confidence intervals for the mean of a population. Students of this class will put together the data they collected individually in Homework 7.6. So, the sample size in this case is the number of students in the class. Students will compute confidence intervals and interpret the result in terms of the original problem of estimating the average size of the dinner plate of a certain population.
